Republic

Have been sending my applications out to a few diff. Regionals w/ Republic being my first choice. Any info on Real time pay, quality of life etc. would be greatly appreciated. Im making the move from the corprate world and any other top-tier Regionals you can suggest would also be helpful.
Thanks for all your help I hear alot of horror stories about some of these places and dont wanna give up what I have for a bottom-feeder outfit.
My times are Roughly 1250 tt /800 Jet

Currently around 1.5-2 years on the RJ with ORD & MKE being the most junior, we had some upgrade in less than a year but mainly because they had the minimums (2500TT/1000 crew). Also our current reserve time on the RJ is about 1-2 months.
On the EMB you can upgrade in less than a year but you need the above mins as well.
Look for our upgrades to remain between 2-3 years or less on the RJ and 1 year on the EMB, based upon our current contracts. Yes we are reducing our EMB fleet from 62 to 44 (reduction of 18) but that's not going to change our upgrades on the EMB due to the large number of transitioning pilots (EMB CA/FO to CRJ CA/FO), we are also replacing those EMB's with 23 RJ's. (23-18=5 additional a/c)
I posted our training schedule for the first half of 08 on this thread, check it out.

I was happy at RAH until this week. My current philosophy is to (make up your own expletive) this place...
Upgrade is about 12-15 months and the pay/work rules are livable....if they pay you right (and that's a big if). The union is worthless.

RAH upgrades are sitting at a low of 14 months for BUF on the 145 to forever in places like GSO that are senior. 170's are going a little senior and even if you do upgrade fast to them, expect to be on reserve for the rest of your career when the 145 capts move over to them.
Pay is showing 28k gross after it's all said and done for my first year.
It's not a bad place at all. Fill a room with pilots and money, there will be some kind of complaint...
he's probably cranky about January's schedules. 73 hours, and 15 days off, I can't complain..
