We don't have a Modesto domicile; Sac-Town and Frestucky, yes. If SKW is so bad the why is our attrition rate low and 121ers are jumping ship for a chance to become a "Jerry's Kid."

$51k is a nice pull. Helps once you get a little seniority under you. January is my last month of bidding for specific things then I'll start pulling it a little harder myself. I'll admit I need to learn the ropes a little bitter about maximizing the pay. However if anyone wants any tips I'm the king of not working lol. One last vacation to take in Jan then I can get serious

here at RAH, well at least the Chautauqua side, there is no good way to maximize your pay! First of all our line values are way too low. The average line barely has enough time off to pick up any open time! And if you do try to pick up open time, too bad! its already been given to half of the reserves in the various domiciles about 48 hours after the final awards are posted! Most regionals give you 150 percent pay for time and half all the time! We only get "premium" pay whenever the company plans poorly and they get in a bind and its only for specific equipment, seats, and domiciles! Too add insult to injury when they do come begging for us to bail them out and pick up extra flying they only offer 15 dollars an hour override for FOs and 30 for captains! Thats a good percentage if your a first year FO or your a 2 or 3 year captain, but if you more senior the override is less than 150 percent! Combine that with when the flights cancel this winter and we dont even come close to our 98.5% completion factor! Theres some lost pay as well. I guess if you go to STL and get one of the good lines worth 90 hours and 15 or so days off. You could pick up some trips here and there and that would help, but if your based in SDF, IND, CVG, or CMH! You might as well save all of your whoppin 12-13 days off to spend time away from the airport!

I know this message seems kind of bitter, but it is one of the downfalls to CHQ. Unless your based in STL the schedules are just horrible! Dont get me wrong RAH is a good airline, there are some issues but all in all its not too bad! I really like it here so far and beeing based at home is really nice! But at my previous airline, TSA, it was much easier to bid a good schedule and pick up/drop some trips to work the system. Here at CHQ, well in the Joe C. days at least, its nearly impossible to drop trips. I But i definately didnt get into this job for the money! at least not at first, so beeing based at home and bidding reserve here and there has given me a huge leap in QOL with less pay compared to better pay and ********y QOL,at the old place!

I'm PHL based and have been consistently holding 85-90 hours with 14 days off. That's about standard for the FOs except for the senior few who can hold the day trips.

think about this... the company has NO incentive ( and shouldnt ) to build 90 hour lines as the average, if they did, all the line holders would be timing out in late november..... how stupid would that be on their part. Certainly everyone wants to be better utilized on the days they do work but realize from an operational standpoint that 90 hour lines across the board just make no sense for the company. We as pilots would love to time out every November. My personal thought is that 80-85 lines with trip and duty rigs are the ticket. Both sides win in that situation.

It doesn't have to be that we all want 90 hr lines. We would like to have productive lines 80hrs a month with 15+ days off instead of 12 days off

Yeah, I tried to bid min sked for Jan to get an extra day off. I ended up with 87 hours and 14 days off. Same thing I've gotten for the last two months.
