Default Regarding Interview

I too interviewed on the 28th with snopilot. I know three of the four guys that were hired for I believe the January class. I assume I know who snopilot was since he is a big Cowboys fan and I think I worked with him at Big Sky (three of them are from Big Sky). Unfortunately, I didn't get the nod. However, the gouge is accurate. That only leaves one more seat in their January 14th class. There was a guy there from Jet Blue (tired of commuting) so I am sure he came very qualified and possibly got the last seat in the January class. There were also 4 additional Big Sky guys two I know ended up like myself. I asked Dana Floyd (Chief Pilot) during the interview about the February class and it sounds like it might be a no-go and the January class would be the last for a while. However it sounds like they are building a pool for somewhere around June - September 2008 for the next set of hiring. He also mentioned they will probably exercise the first of their ten options for Q4’s around that time. The HR lady (name slipped my mind) that was also in the interview mentioned it could be earlier. You will also probably meet Claire Simpson she is a very bubbly Irish lady that will do your initial presentation from Human Resources. All the guys from Big Sky that they hired have Denver roots, so maybe they were looking for locals. I had an Iowa address and I am not sure if that concerned the Chief Pilot since they don’t have CASS yet. Would have moved back to Denver, but he never asked. If you have doubts just talk to or email Claire I am sure she can further clarify. One of the pilot trainee’s came into the cafeteria and mentioned he talks to the interviewee’s (spelling) to find out the latest and greatest, so things are definitely in constant flux.

TIME 2FLY, all the gentlemen that I know they hired had at least 1500TT and I am pretty sure they had 500 Turbine-multi. One of them was a Captain with an ATP and about 2400 total. I have 2300 TT and 1500 multi. I think there is probably a chance, but do you have any Part 121 time? Hope you interview really well if you get the chance. Good Luck and remember everyone starts somewhere.

Thank you for the response.

Unfortunately I do not have any 121 time so it sounds like my chances are limited with 550/150.. I understand everyone starts somewhere, and Lynx looks very attractive.. Thanks again.

Anyone have any recommendations for the West Coast with my current times…

Thanks in advance

Not sure what Horizon is interviewing at but, they're mins. are 750TT ( but I am sure that you probably already know that).

There was a rumor floating around one of these forums that Cape Air was kicking around the possibility of starting service from PDX to the surrounding beaches. Not sure what ever came of that.

Sorry, not much help. One long shot and one rumor.....
