I get it, your crappy regional is better than the other crappy regional. Didn't you take the time to go interview with Great Lakes? What did you tell them when asked "Why do you want to work for Great Lakes?"

Good luck finding a "better job" espcially with your DUI. Even Gulfstream turned you down!

I wouldn't call C5 significantly better than anyone....

Burned......

But in all fairness, C5 did take super pilot/F-16 driver/fire fighter/rescue diver/SouthWest FO/ walks on water during his free time Timmmmmay "The Mark" Martins....

Obviously you don't get it. I didn't set out to say that mine is better than yours, just that I wish that all these regionals that pay crap would go out of business, and that we would find better jobs as aviators. I mean I didn't set out to offend anybody by wishing for better futures but if I did sorry.

As for your personal dig on me, you know nothing about my resume other than C5 and my DUI. When it's time to get that better job I'll be fine.

They would if guys like yourself stopped applying or accepting job offers.

You're right, paid training, 8 dollars more an hour, flying a plane certified for two is very insignificant. But that's not even what I was trying to say or debate.
Every body started wetting their panties when I said I wished a place would go out of business, and totally disregarded the second part of the "wish", which was everyone gets annother job. Christ you want to wish for a contract that still isn't going to bring you out of poverty be my guest. If I'm going to wish for something (I mean this is starting to sound like some disney crap) it's going to be a lot more.

That's just unrealistic. Even if guys like me stop there are plenty of young guys still living at home or with spouses that can and will take these jobs. So what am I supposed to quite and just sit by and watch while other people get ahead? It's capitalism. That's the whole problem with this industry, supply and demand. There's just to many people who want to fly so they can pay these crappy wages, there's an argument to be made that it's a good business practice.

Okay, so 8hr more an hr. what's that like $21? The 2 and 300 aren't gems or anything to brag about.... I'm at OO and I wouldn't come on here and say my place is significantly better than C5 although it is :D

All kidding aside. If you want to improve and get rid of "crappy regionals" as you put it... Don't apply and accept jobs from them... At this time, you sir are part of the problem not the solution.
Go fly cargo, part 135 air tours ect.... There are ways to build time rather than settle for a "crappy regional". No excuses... That's what GoJet'ers do to justify their job....

The only reason I brought it up is because of the pot and kettle statement.
