Do any new hire Lakes pilots go directly to the EMB ? If not, what is the typical wait to fly it ?

You need to understand the differences of a small t-prop and an RJ as well as the OPS spec for both.

Upgrade times are similar to GoJet, Silver and Commutair... I heard GLA likes to place the younger guys into the E120 out of training... |

Agreed. There's a time and place for everything.. I'm DCA based and yes I love circling to 33 all the time or doing the River visual 19. But, at the same time, I can't just throw the boards out and throw the nose to the ground when I'm visual into RIC and they left me at 3,500.... Takes space to dirty up a jet. Try anything too stupid and you'll be doing go-arounds for days(or just kill yourself).

Many times ATC says "See Ya!" on their own out there. I hear it frequently.
Who cares? |
