Skyway Closing Doors
#24
This is really sad. I luckly made the lateral move from Skyway to another regional back in November. I never thought Skyway would cease ops this soon. I know a lot of good people at Skyway side and I hope with the way regionals are hiring everyone can successfully gain employment elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about the skyway thing. On a side note, colgan is doing on the spot interviews in MKE today for captain slots. My guess would be on the saab and q400. Not the best gig, but it will keep the money flowing till you can find something else. Good luck guys.
from colgan HR:
As you may know we hired several former Big Sky pilots that are in training now. We are interviewing Skyway pilots tomorrow (Monday) in Milwaukee. We put this open house together on short notice after learning of the situation at Skyway late last week.
If you know any Skyway pilots please pass on the following information.

This thread is titled "Skyway Closing Doors." How about we keep it on topic with relevant info on helping the Skyway pilots rather than whine because people don't share your opinion in a different thread.

It is readily apparant that you have no ambition in this business beyond the RJ, or simply no understanding of the long term positive implications of RJ flying being replaced by mainline flying....
