...and this deal is an outside regional replacing both mainline and wholey-owned regional flying. The corporate corruption angle is for another thread. This is going in the wrong direction. About 95% of the time, I really believe Skyway was doing pure "regional" flying and feeding the YX system.
Several carriers are jumping at the opportunity to snag a handful of current 121 pilots, and we all really appreciate the help. There is a ton that sucks about starting over -- seniority, pay, and probation, for starters. It's the nature of the beast, I suppose.

Sorry to hear one of my "alma maters" is going out. Spent about a year on the B1900D at Skyway in 2000, one of my favorite years in aviation. Hope the good folks there all land on their feet, and that the corporate greedheads in charge smoke a t*rd in hell. Not a great alternative, but Pinnacle is hiring as fast as they can find people...
