You are right. I should have not said "everyone." But it does affect other regional pilots.

The point is that they have about three quarters of a BILLION dollars in the bank AND are going to make about $150 MILLION this year but yet cannot afford to give just a little bit more to their pilots.

I doubt anyone at a non-union carrier should be putting anything "objectionable" on their flight bags. You won't have that union protection at the hearing....oh wait a minute - there won't be a hearing just the sound of a door slamming behind you.

Those are the most over-used and worn-out three words on APC. I wonder what the life-expectancy of heavy-posters on these boards is? Ya'll get worked up so much! It 'aint worth it folks. Ya'll are gonna fight tooth and nail for every extra penny, and then you'll go to the grave too early to enjoy it.

There's a lot to be said for just being happy. I am very happy with life at SkyWest, and you can't change my mind about that. "Raising the bar" or not, we're still very good at what we do, and compensated as such.

About 2900 pilots eligible to vote.

707 against

1600--ish for

it passed, more than two to one.

Jay,

You're more than welcome to run for SAPA, and if elected, you can resist that bad management that is running off all the "reps we need".

I predict a bit of an uphill struggle for you, though. None of your views that you perpetuate here are in general consensus with the majority votes conducted by SAPA, or the general pilot group.

That's not bad. There needs to be a minority view in every debate, IMHO.

I guess that's two pay raises in a row that didn't have too much momentum. I dont know what all was in the package though so I'll just sit on my hands.

Yah, I hear ya. Kinda sucks getting two pay raises in 14 months. We should get a good 15 year contract and stop this crap right now.
