my spelling is bad... ;-) but its sub $2.50 a share. Xjet is, from the outside looking in, a much better company than $2.50 a share. I am currious about one thing though. with all the doom and gloomers out there saying that 50 seat jets are done flying with $90.00/barrel oil, Why is everyone pumped on Xjet? isnt a majority of the xjet fleet fall into this very same category? (emb-135,40's, and 45's) I gues the XR's fit a few more but honestly whats so different, SAAB? Labor groups aside, I dont see many differences between Xjet and other regionals supposedly "in trouble." Again, I'm a newbie who cant spell, so just an honest question, bud. I'm not trying to start a "flame fest".

And the 2340 release is only if its a good day. Otherwise you're dealing with being 3 minutes to your EDC only to have EWR go into a 1 hour ground stop, and then get another EDC for 2 hours after that. I never could get enough of EWR.

There is nothing bigger at XJET than 50 seaters. XJET for the last 3 years has had good work rules and a good relationship with management. They also have some of the best pay in the regional market. But with just about every other regional getting into the 70 seat market, its frustrating to watch others get awarded flying contract after flying contract, and still maintain confidence in our management team and their overall plan. The Delta contract will be up in about 1.5 years, and no one knows what will happen with the CAL flying. Will we keep it, or will they pull another 25% of our fleet (52 airplanes) from the CPA?

The thing is, the contract does not matter if nobody wants to fly the airplanes.

It is that simple.

Oh believe me I am not one of those types.

I am just saying, a good contract is less important than a company that is solidifying it's future.

If Xjet is the next Berkshire Hathaway acquisition, then we'll know for sure.

well, thats the problem Colgan management used that type of BS with Colgan guys, "Look at what happens when a company pays you accordingly and has a good contract, you'll end up like XJT, the pilots make the company too expensive blah blah blah. Why should the pilots have to sacrifice pay & QOL for a company to survive??????????? Look at how well that turned out for United and US Airways guys, pensions stolen, merged airlines, CAL's recessionary contract, the list goes on and on, when will Management take a concession and stop awarding themselves millions........................

Larry Kellner gets a $7,000,000.00 bonus, meanwhile there are very higly trained pilots flying around hundreds of people in a CAL 767, for $30/h and no health insurance THESE GUYS HAVE FAMILES. Think about what your saying!!!!!!!!

It might come down to it, but I would rather be on the street looking for a better place then taking huge concessions in PAY & QOL for my comapny to "Secure a future"

I agree with all of that.

Employees need to WAKE UP and see what is going on.
