You forgot the 290 million in the bank....but if you're talking about aircraft, you're right we lease most if not all.

Okay, the term is relative. People think that XJT doesn't own anything because they lease all their aircraft. I thought that is where you were going with that.

The $238 million in the bank is included in the assets.

A lease is almost the same as owning, just paying a fee on top of the loss in deprecation value for not actually buying it out right. So just because you own a jet doesn't mean you really are in an insanely good position.

No I'm thinking of it more mom and pop like. If you get in financial trouble you can take a loan out on your home or car or whatever else you have equity in. One of the huge bonuses about buying instead of renting. Something which I'm mowing over pretty good right now as I'm looking into getting a home this fall. If XJT loses any flying or decides to quit going branded they can't exactly sell any of their aircraft and put money back into their pockets.

Of course the numbers don't mean everything. Look at Mesa heh. Should that company continue to lose money as they are then CHQ, or even you guys should they decide to go that route, might be able to pick a few planes up. I know we're looking with the CRJ's going bye bye.

Certain leases may be reflected on the company's balance sheet. You'd have to read the notes in the 10-K to find out if this is the case.

OK, then add the $750+ million SKW Inc has in the bank which is increasing by over $70M (pre tax) per Q. Damn, we need representation so we can get a bigger piece of the pie.

Who cares? RAH, SKW & XJT are the three best independently owned regional airlines in America. Anyone who, gets on with any of them, will be just fine.
