Did you even read my whole post? I understand management has a job to do to try to keep costs down. We all understand that. I said as much in my previous post. I know their point of view. But not having a NMB recognized union with the pilots point of view will NEVER allow the pilots to have a contract!

No argument there. But like I've said before, we live in reality and not fantasy island.

So, why shouldn't the pilots get more of the pie?

The answer would depend on the Company's staffing levels, turnover, and qualified applicant pool. If all of those are reasonable I'd say there really *isn't* a reason to give the employees a raise from a management perspective.

Did you read the whole thread. I have mentioned on more than one occasion that I understand that part of what management needs to do is to reduce costs. So to answer your question, yes I can and have.
