... Ive heard of a few captains and f/os catching quick powernaps, nothing wrong with that. but whichever pilot was supposed to be up; really messed up. BIG TIME!-How would you explain this on an interview??

- And for someone to fall asleep so quick on such a short flight, is definitely a strong sign of fatigue. sucks to be them; but what sucks even more was the company they flew for.

Well maybe they wouldn't fall asleep if they weren't so damn tired in the first place!

I'm not one to defend mag management, but the pilots' duty schedules are posted on FI. If those schedules are accurate, they had enough opportunity for rest in this particular case.

Ok...so they fell asleep. Lets figure out whose fault that is...other than the pilots of course. Because God knows, we never screw up...

They fell asleep. They got fired. I'm pretty sure if you get caught falling asleep at McDonald's you get fired too. The only difference is at McDonald's you're losing a lot more money.

If you fall asleep at McDonalds you're likely to end up in the fryer.

Thats ok though as long as you can climb on top of a Chicken McNugget to stay afloat.

It’s hard to keep your job as a pilot when you has been revoked….

You know you're really tired when you involuntarily nod off between putting the gear handle down and touchdown, and actually feel a lil' more alert for the flare.
