I don't think SKYW will be looking for concessions. CAL pays XJT's expenses plus a 10% margin per the CBA. My guess is that the SKYW/CAL CBA probably has a 6-7% margin. Further, the combining of some office functions like payroll and HR will lead to some savings which SKW can pass on to CAL.

Because they can have more flying by purchasing XJT, and have a new CBA to guarantee it. Why have 51 aircraft when you could have 153 or more?

CAL wouldn't be able to force anything on us in those terms. SKW mgmt. would be the ones to do that. From past history and what others say, they don't seem like that type. In other words, why would they treat us much different than their current employees?

If CAL pulls more planes from XJT, are you guys going to give them back or put them on the branded side out of spite like the last time this happened?

what we can't let happen is them take airplanes from us, and then offer our soon to be "jobless" F/Os 1st year pay at SkyWest.
