Funny thing I have a DUI from 5 years ago, I'd have to stick around. I have applied everywhere else. I've talked to recruiters, chief pilots and even a CEOs. The ironic thing is all the regionals that go to Canada will give me an interview as soon as I get a waiver, but the two that don't go, won't give me the time of day.

Default Sources Say...

Heard today from a VERY reliable company source that PDT IS IN FACT GOING TO ACQUISITION THE 200s AND NEW Q400s in the near future!!! Trust me, I know this sounds like a bunch of malarkey but management is stepping up to the plate on this one. It appears as though they have finally realized that the concept of an airline doesn't work when all of the airframes time out and end up rusting in the desert. And yes, you can take this one to the bank! Finally, the dawning of a new age for a company that is way past due. Looks like things will be on the up and up for PDT after all.

^^^I'm loving the positive!
I start class in January. From my interview experience, it seems to me that PDT is a little more picky than previously mentioned. All the low time hires I talked to said they got in because of "advanced jet courses" (I don't know exactly what the program is called) through a university.

I told a friend of mine to apply with 350tt/50me, CFI, and a high GPA ERAU degree, and they told him to reapply when he reached 500 hours.

Wow that's great news! Especially for the future of the company! I heard the security guard at the CLT training center signed a UPS package of Q400 manuals
Ask him next time you see him. He works the morning shift and kinda looks like this...

They arent big on ERAU guys according to the instructor who did my classes indoc. He said the lack of steam training made the transition difficult.

Probably for PSA a replacement for the 200's

If in fact the rumor of -200's and -400's are true then when would these frames materialize?

I hate the implication that because someone has some tickets, it makes them a bad pilot, it'sjust not true.

I agree it's not true, one thing I found to work though is don't wait for them to call you if you want the job get ahold of BT and act interested.

LOL! Haven't you learned yet? There is NO ONE within this company, not from S.F. down to the newest ramper in PHL, that is worth considering credible or reliable for news like that. Only Tempe makes those decisions and if it was already made, they'd have issued a press release bragging about it (even then, most of us still wouldn't believe it until we see the aircraft with our own eyes).

They've been jerking us around with that story since long before I got here and there's no more reason to believe it now than there was then.

Does BT have a number he can be reached at? I'm constantly bombing him with resumes with just the standard response back.
