You have 1 year or less upgrades. No need for retention $$$ like Envoy. We have 7-8 year FO's still that are ready to quit everyday. Big difference.

Guys with prior 121 are upgrading in five months.
Guys with prior 121 are getting an extra $10k in bonuses.

Prior 121 pilots are reaping all the benefits. What about guys without prior 121? the majority of new hire classes are not coming from another regional.

I understand this is a move to steal pilots from contract carriers and bring all the flying to the WOs, but it completely neglects the majority of the guys PDT is hiring at the moment

Sounds like PDT is happy with the number of non-121 guys it's attracting. Don't expect AAG to be generous with money if they don't have to be. They want their WOs operate at the minimal expense they can and still function.

Dues = paid for prior 121 pilots.

Not really unfair.

People with more experience should be paid more like in just about every other career on the planet.

There was a $20,000 retention bonus for current FOs that was left on the table that the union did not agree to

My class was 50/50 with prior airline guys... They are all upgrading or just about to... Too bad I didn't get the 15k bonus.. I think a compensation change is going to have to happen soon for the retention of pilots to stay through the flow..

I will say the communication from boss Hogg was nice and refreshing.. At least the impression of the of communication is that he is in touch with the pilot group...

I am glass is half full...

Many of us had said it before, the contract we signed couple years ago (seem by many was a concession contract) won't matter because once we have problem staffing the airlines, AAG will come back with better compensation. This is just beginning guys, I believe theres still a lot of improvements ahead.
With that being said, pdt still offer one of the most potential package around.

I heard the first March class only had two people... And was pushed back/cancelled... I think that problem with staffing is already here.. I haven't had one trip go as a planned the past two months due to coverage and I've been doing extra almost every trip, due to pilot coverage...

Show us the Benjamin's so I can quit my second job...
