Probably the same at PSA/Envoy-I have no idea.
Nah, I've been at PSA a year and a few months now. I caught our hiring wave right in the middle. I'm a round 1 line holder. February I credited almost 100 hours with 12 hard days off and 14 nights home. March I'm crediting 80 hours with 16 days off. It seems of the AAG wholly owneds, PSA has by far the best schedule possibilities because of our SAP. But even when I was a round 2 line holder, I would still credit 85 hours with 11 or 12 days off and all my trips were commutable.

I'm not so sure that those new hire bonuses are going to do that much to attract people to the wholly owneds. Our pay is still some of the worst in the industry.

Show us the Benjamin's so I can quit my second job...
I guess I was one of those two then; I was told they were "condensing the March class into one" (two weeks later)

My buddy who went through in December had 10-15 or so in his class - he finally went to the sim this past week...

"Crew planning" did it again... Junior Manned a captain on his last trip before he flowed. This happens too regularly to be coincidence. Though that shouldn't surprise anyone that knows the pilot hating person who runs planning.

Crew scheduling's job is to fill any open flying, if you think they are out there to get some specific individual, I can assure you that's not the case. Some of them don't even know who's flowing and who's not. The amount of open flying currently out there is the most I ever seem since my time here.

There is a pattern with pilots leaving getting the bye bye JRM. Is what it is. ALSO... if you haven't been here long enough to see "someone get, got." By planning then you wouldn't know, and I don't hold it against you, planning tag someone they don't like.

As much as I love PDT, and I do, scheduling and planning need work. The man that runs planning is a monster. And if they believe you've wronged them...sick...fatigue... Whatever...

I guess I just seem so many unprofessionalism from many Crew members lately while talking to those Crew schedulers. I just don't believe they have a list of targets in their room, I seem our Chief Pilot get call for open flying, it's a good time for those want to make some extra $, and if you don't want to work just simply say you can't. I just want to defend the guys/girls in scheduling, not the guy in planning. I haven't been here for 20 years but I think 8 years is enough long to form a pretty good opinion.
