Like I said, just mumblings from an asset in the training dept.
Yes, but not anytime soon. They've already dumbed millions in. I wondered from the beginning why Piedmont would take 145's. Not unless this is just to get a jet certificate and move to something else.

I think what happens with AWAC and Republic will have a big impact on what really happens at Piedmont and a merger with envoy.

By the time they merge both Envoy and Piedmont would be very junior airlines due to the flow thru. Straight date of hire.

Everything is fine. The 145 program got off to a slow start. Yes. Is anybody seriously surprised? Piedmont was basically awakened from the dead. Progress is being made. Planes are coming and AAG knows exactly what they are doing. Dont believe all the stuff on here.

Just remember to select yes on your flow to AA and crack a beer brah.

Are FOs locked in on equipment until upgrade? Will FOs on campus be allowed to transition to the new equipment 145 or is their a lock in period? If so how long? Will some stay on the dash until they flow?

Are new hires able to get 145 or are all going to the Dash?
Thinking of leaving RAH got my 145 type too!

PM not sure it sent I'm a newbie to the site. My buddy in the Guard just sent me the link tonight. Read through the last few years of information, is the training still killer? Any projections on hiring into the 145, I have the type and the time in it - 2500. Are there lots of pilots waiting to train for it?

You are right most things are rumor and not true on this site. But, I know for sure that you guys have a program in the works, yes. PDT still has only recieved 1 airframe from ENY and it has just sat since delivery. When will PDT get another? No one can say for certain, but it should happen in 2016.

AAG knows what they are doing for the most part but do not want a repeat of what happened when taking planes and placing them with TSA to operate. Where the airfames were just going to sit around and not fly.

The next plane is scheduled on it's way next month. Bottom line is if Piedmont can staff the planes they will get the planes. Piedmont isn't TSA in the fact that PDT is a wholly owned and AAG would rather dump money into its own then a contract carrier.

If Piedmont gets the pilots it will grow. Period End.
