Efis? Is that like Eiffel? As in Eifel tower?
I think there 3 300's on the line with an efis. Funny, I heard a lot of airframes had efis when they were originally delivered. Because management thought efis would cost too much money to upkeep, the efis was removed. Now I hear the steam gear costs a small fortune to keep running because parts are no longer supported and it's very labor intensive.

If I was a young guy fresh off cfi I would give C4 a serious look. My friend is there and gets a ton more time off, just as fast upgrade and is making a ton more money than me. He is averaging 15 days off a month. I am stuck with another month of 11 days off. Their dashes all have efis, fly 200's. The negative for them is they don't have a complete flow like pdt. I will say my friends QOL is pretty dam good there compared to mine.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree. We are going to have to do something to keep getting new hires. We have some of the lowest first year pay in the industry. Min days off every month. How can i recruit people to come here when everywhere else pays $5-10 an hour more. Something must change fast. I think LH knows that. Lets hope at least.

The best regional gig will be the one where you don't have to commute. Even if someone if offering 50K/yr while another is 10K or so less, the amount of money you will spend on crash pad expenses, transportation and the hassle of commuting makes it less appealing. Location, location, location.

I like the flow, like the bases.
From my prospective, if you guys had SAP and I had to ability to fly min guarantee only if I wanted to I'd be the next class. I don't really care about first year pay as much when there's a quick upgrade to make me a CA as soon as I hit 1k hours.

When LH fully takes the reigns soon, it will be game on. He is aware of our pain points and traditional battles. I think he will be far more effective to keep us headed in the right direction.

When do you think he will takeover? I completely agree with you. He is a good guy. I think he knows what needs to be done. I think he isn't afraid to stand up to AA management and ask or tell what resources he needs to complete the job. Which in the end will greatly benefit us.
