Exactly. With swapping out 1 for 1, how much growth can there be when you can't hire enough FO's? That was the point.

Our difference is we're still a tiny pilot group. I doubt we will grow over 600 pilots. So if we can take 2 jets and park one dash, we feel it as huge movement. Especially with the flow.

It is not swapping 1 for 1. We are retiring 5 dashes by end of fourth quarter. By that time we will have added 14 145s.. That's a net gain of nine aircraft. That leaves us with 32 dashes. Starting Jan we take 2 145s and in February we take 3 a month.

Yes hiring is a problem.. We took 6 in last week and have over 15 end of month secured.

I know both September classes are going to be bigger. The recruiting team is really going above and beyond. Lots of boxers.

Just like with the other 2 WOs and with other regionals, fleet plans look great on paper but when it comes down to actually staffing that flying... Good luck. None of the WOs are that attractive to new hires right now. PSA is supposed to be receiving the 35 remaining 700s from Envoy. Envoy had orders for 40 175s and options for 90 more. No one can attract new hires.

You are getting some really bad info from someone. RJET hasn't lost anywhere near 40 a month since the contract was ratified. Also, the 170's are coming back. Already on the schedule for revenue flights in November.

From the latest Q2 2016 Form 8-K Investor Update for AAG, dated July 22nd:

"As part of its restructuring process, Republic Airways has to date reduced the fleet capacity available to the Company by 18 E170 aircraft and 3 E175 aircraft. The Company is negotiating an amendment to its contractual relationship with Republic which as currently proposed contemplates further reduction of aircraft operated by Republic on behalf of the Company...The Company has taken various actions to mitigate the effects of this reduction in flying, including by adjusting its mainline schedule and seeking additional capacity from its wholly owned regional subsidiaries and other regional providers."

One of the reasons the MD's are hanging around longer.
