I have a interview Thursday and wouldn't take a class date until Oct. Also I have a CJO at 9E. I know it's petty but I have been in a jet for 2 years and I am not sure how I feel about the dash.

Good luck! I know I'm biased but I would highly recommend PDT. Tell them you want the jet...you could prob hold for a jet class. The Dash is a blast to fly but it will be the sacrificial lamb to get more jets. Remember 9E is only giving you an interview to big D...then you have tto be a CA for 2 years at 9E. That timeframe and your no interview flow will be similar. Plus you can still apply to big D before your flow date.

Most of the training dept is being transitioned to the jet. To my knowledge, no one has failed out of jet training. By default, it is easier than the Dash. Less emphasis on hand-flying skill, etc.. There are some excellent folks in the training dept. They will do what it takes to get you through.

From what I hear even if I hold off I dont have a guarantee ill get the jet. The big seller is the no interview flow to AA since currently I only have a 2 year degree. Although I am working on my 4 year I am not sure how easy it will be anymore while flying at a regional. What is the chance of them ending that flow or changing the parameters ?

Oh that won't stop you. Just active disciplinary matters. You could fail both and then keep your nose clean and you are good to go. Hell, I know one person hired outside of the flow by AA, with 2 primary failures and an upgrade failure. It's not the stigma it used to be...people have bad days sometimes.
