actually i dont like the kool aide drinking pilots who like to paint a rosey picture so to get pilots on the seniority list to better themselves seniority wise. so yes BFD to what he said.

It's not drinking the Kool-Aid if you actually enjoy it where you are working. I don't get caught up in the seniority aspect of things. You could play out a hundred different scenarios to argue that. Does PDT have its share of issues? Sure, only a fool would deny that too. Is it nice to be part of a smaller airline that is more akin to a family than a company? Yes it is, and it IS a BFD. If that is drinking the Kool-Aid I'll have a pitcher. Throw some rum in it too, I'm off today

Watched a Dash crew yesterday get tired of waiting for marshalers to park them in CLT, and just parked themselves. It was hilarious. They just pulled in, shut it down, and kicked the door open.

The ramp manager was VERY upset with them, to say the least.

I agree.

I still thought it was funny. The only crappy thing is that the manager was pushing my airplane back at the time at the gate next to the Dash. So, we had to stop our push so the manager could go over and yell at the crew. The manager said that he has to power to ensure that they are never allowed to fly in to CLT again, and that they will be permanently banned. I almost started laughing on the interphone. Nope.

We are Pro's at that. Actually we can get the nose wheel on the T spot better then the Marshalers can.

It happens on the mainline side as well. It's sad. Then on top of that there's no JetBridge driver. We got some work to do as an airline that's for sure.

Since the autodock system is working in CLT again, it is pretty easy to park yourself again.
