Perfect! Hopefully all bases are attainable except SBY. My first choice is MDT and second is ROA.

What is the life expectancy of the 145's?

Aren't they a few years from being sent to the desert anyways?

The scope is about full with 900's and 175's, will there be enough airplanes to keep Piedmont flying?

What is your management saying about this?

I know that you say you will get 175's, but why? They will need to take them away from Envoy to do this.

(I am honestly curious about this. Especially after seeing what is happening to Air Wisconsin, flying small and outdated airplanes seems like it would cause quite a bit of concern)
Check your emails everyone, Hogg just blasted out an email informing us on AAs decision to shut down PDT.

Thanks for the informative post, Old man. Quality per usual

What is the timeline for retiring the Dash? Over how many years?

Looking at moving over to PDT from XJT. I live near DTW and would like to get the PHL base out of training. What are the odds of that?

Also, how long is reserve time realistically? The recruiters told me there are people leaving training and going straight to a line. Is there truth in that, or is that just recruiter rhetoric?

If you get the jet PHL is the only base we have. Dash wise both MDT and PHL are easy commutes as I have done it. PHL for the dash is gonna start going junior as more of us move to the jet. In terms of lines it depends on your domicile. ROA guys have lines and most MDT guys can get a line short after training. PM me if ya have questions I can help anyway I can.

I heard they were overstaffing the jet so reserve in PHL. They overstaff it because they are getting more. Someone else can answer how long, not sure.
