There is a lot of shuffling going on right now. There is a bid out with a couple PHL Dash CA spots and 11 145 CA slots available. The results of that award could make MDT more junior.

Envoy just announced a LGA base. How does this effect the PDT base rumors?

All your bases are belong to us?

Seriously, LH said in a company memo PDT's mission is to serve smaller communities with <50 seat jets out of PHL. There is no need to move HQ or open a new base at the present time. Therefore, I've taken everything outside of that (E170's, DCA/LGA) to be weightless pilot rumor.

None of what you hear and half of what you see people.

Isn't that a AWAC crew base? That probably seals the deal on any future AWAC has with American.

Not just smaller communities. We will be operating to large cities as well. We will be hearing about another Jet base soon. We are accelerating jet deliveries and dash retirements in January. With the Dash retirements the Dash bases will close.

Just me being selfish...but I'm secretly hoping for a ROA jet base.

Any rumors of what that new base could be?

- Min days off is 11; for October only 3 lines in ROA had min days off, all the other lines had more, but not more than I think 14 days off.
- The lines are mostly separated into two flavors: AM reports with finishes in the late morning to early/mid afternoon and then lines with PM reports with finishes in the early to late evening.

I like to bid the AM lines so that I have time to do things after getting to the hotel. I hate getting to the hotel late at night. Plus, flying in the morning gets you away from some of the afternoon storms and the operational snowball effects that that causes.

Thanks for that info!

In the townhall, LH name dropped DCA as a place we will focus on in the future. Although, he made a much bigger deal about Philly.
