American has shown that it either isn't renewing with non-wholly owned or is doing so reluctantly. They've chopped Rjet's eagle fleet in half and are thumbing their noses at a storied regional that at one time bailed out USair. You can second guess all you want, but the trend is that AA will allow cpa's to expire and then bring them in-house as it happens.

Do you think this will affect new hires going into the 145? I interviewed and was offered the job today. I'm hoping for a 145 slot which they said should be November.... The reason I want it is because I'm currently typed in it and would prefer Phl for the base so I don't have to do a two leg commute. Hoping to jump ship and start ASAP... But in the 145. Look forward to coming over!
