We actually have the flow agreement in our Mainline Contract. If I get sometime I'll look for it. I just remember seeing in pasted in our Company Ipads that outline the flow agreement with our 3 WO's.

Don't shoot the messenger, unless he's more senior than you. Climb that ladder! Ha.

Going to interesting but looks like they are starting finally to do all the right things. Plus now I've heard they have access to more 145 simulators.
What does a seamless transition have to do with anything? The fact is that the pilot group has not yet grown to the forecasted size.

Because it's not at the right size yet, the flow hasn't increased to the rate they were predicting. Unfortunately, the "time to flow" estimates were predicated on certain assumptions which it appears are not being met.

Street captains are a time bomb, especially in this environment.

They are great at first, but before long, you have FO's that want to upgrade but can't because people that are junior to them took all of the CA slots. Then, when things start moving again, the street captains are stuck on eternal reserve.

So, you have street captains looking to go somewhere else because they are sick and tired of reserve life. At the same time, you have junior FO's that are unable to upgrade and are looking to leave. If the market is good for pilots (which it will be), they all start to leave at the same time.

This has happened many times at airlines, and is happening at PSA right now. Street captains are never a good thing. They just temporarily delay the pain and suffering. In the end, you are better off growing naturally.

Plus, from the sounds of it, PDT really isn't going to grow much at all. It is just swapping out Dash's for 145's. Isn't it going to be a 1 for 1 swap? If not, do you have the specific announcement to say that it is not and how many airplanes you will be getting?

I don't think the FO's will mind to much when someone senior to them upgrades they get the pay protection. Hell I wouldn't! Cake FO sced. making Captain Coin.

You know that will never happen. They will run a CA vacancy bid. There won't be enough FO's to take all of the spots, and hire new FO's that will automatically upgrade to CA. That is how it is always done. That is how they get around having to pay the FO's CA pay. It is a great loophole in the contracts that Parker's people write.

Can you show me where they announced that it is a 3:1 replacement, 145's for Dash's? I must have missed that announcement.

(Sigh) Nothing ruins a good day flying more than listening to a miserable Envoy open their mouth. Don't speak of things you'll never understand.
