The company must have told mainline that we couldn't handle the flying we had this month and we lost a lot of trips. With training going full on now a lot of guys are getting done with training and now we have guys on reserve with nothing to do. Looks like for the rest of the month all the guys on reserve will be sitting around tiwidling there thumbs.... Just goes to show you. One min it may be one way but the next will be another. Guys on reserve will have to look forward to burning thru the commuter hotels in a week then foot the bill for a place to stay the rest of the month on mins. There's absolutely no way I will even come close to mins this month. I've literally begged scheduling for a trip everyday and even offered to work on my days off... WTH is happening!!! I thought for sure once I finally got thru this 6 month training event here at PDT they would be begging me to work! Hopefully it changes next month... Mins are killing my checkbook.
Hang in there.. We lose 16 fos this month to training.. Which base are u at?
Dam I should have bid reserve.... Instead I'm sitting in Elmira.. Ohwell

What would you all say the biggest need is for FO or CPT? I will have captain mins probably after a month of flying then will bid once comfortable. Is it true they have hired some street captains now? Think I saw something about that earlier or in another thread.

We'll see, I think the analysts are predicting the EBITA to increase this year.. I kind of feel the international business is going to continue to suffer. Plus they do have quite a few capital commitments this year. When I worked for xxxxx my profit sharing was 35k in company stock.. That was profit sharing.. I think those days of business are long gone.

We need CAs pretty bad...between jet transitions and the flow the CAs are definitely not sitting around on reserve. I've heard rumors of some insane pay credit going on...we're talking 150-200+ hrs of credit if you want to work, sell your vacation back, etc...

Wow... Yeah, I'll be one of those. Goal is to get as much experience on the Dash and get comfortable so I can bid captain. Will be bidding for SBY once I get to training.
