I think he was being sarcastic. Piedmont has parked and returned aircraft with fresh paint too. Painting means nothing, although I believe the 300s they are painting now have a couple years left on their lease.

American spokesman Casey Norton said Wednesday, “American would like to place some of its large regional aircraft with Envoy, but the economics of the current contract are not competitive. There were informal discussions with Envoy ALPA to see what could be done to remedy this.

American spokesman Casey Norton said Tuesday that "despite repeated efforts, we haven't been able to reach agreement with the Envoy pilots and have had to move on with different plans for our operations. No further contract discussions with the pilots are expected until their current contract becomes amendable in 2016."

2016 it is.

Vote accordingly PDT brothers and sisters.

Thank you. That is an unfortunate reminder of the fact that despite what we feel is fair, there can and will be retaliation. You can take action, with an equal and definitive opposite reaction. I doubt the original plan was to give the first 20 of the 175s to Compass. Envoy had several chances to make compromise, and we may only have one. As far as the conspiracy theory of painting the aircraft, that was always the plan. All 300s and 16 I believe of the 100s were slated to be painted. This is good for the brand image and good for prolonging the airframe until they are retired/leases up. Glad to see one of the blue birds with a nice fresh look.

2016,

36 millions in give backs of the BK contract. Can't wait to see what they will offer to get rid if it. Lol!!!

If we are "expensive", we will be more expensive because of their own fault. By then we will be probably a 1,500 to 1,800 pilot airline just like they want to.

What do you mean by retaliation?

Also, Eagle did take a huge "compromise" with our concessionary bankruptcy contract. How many times are we supposed to compromise?

So now, bankruptcy solved (thanks to a merger), a new management group makes you an offer for an air force of planes, and you turn it down multiple times after a TA was originally reached. Unfortunately, Human nature takes over and says "I'll show you what happens when you are indecisive, ungrateful, and abrasive." ,Planes then go to a non-wholly owned and offers are made elsewhere. Retaliation, from a bad first impression. Its not rocket science, your AAG parents just think you are getting too big for your britches.

You're still not putting your thinking cap on. Why would your TA contain pay rates for E140's, E145's, and CRJ's?

Why would it have major loopholes giving the company an 'out' for placing 175's there?

What do you think these things are an indication of?

So management lies lies lies, you give give give, then they lie lie lie and you wonder why people question giving some more?
