There really isn't any reason to draw comparisons with PSA here. I know your PSA Love thread is slow-going, maybe you should go spend more time trolling that thread instead continuing with your agenda of trying to bring PSA into a PDT discussion. Nothing against PSA but this isnt the PSA thread.

You haven't returned 20% of your fleet this year, have you? You don't have a 20 year old fleet of junkers do you? Our prospects are not the same as yours Meyers, please don't draw those comparisons.
You know what... I have to say for YOU and you only, I have no pitty for you. Maybe this will make you grow. For the others I feel awful for and wish them nothing but the best. But I have nothing more for you! And last I checked PSA/PDT we try to work together. But apparently you are just too good for that! So have at it bud!

You decided to go to PDT. You went there. You knew what you got into! SO INSTEAD of saying I wish you the best I wont! To the rest whom are being let go I sincerly wish the best and if for some reason at PSA we hire and they are on the street I will support bringing as many on before we bring anyone from the hiring pool! Because that's how it should work between wholly owns. Many of us got lucky with PDT/PSA/Pinnacle/MESA etc and got on with hours we never belong to get hired with. But we did and got a great experience. I cannot tell you the number of guys at PSA who were hired with under 300 hours. And i know PDT was the same... Many whom are in the 20's and have along career ahead.... But instead of looking for a positive in todays age you rather sit and cry. Well I am not a fan of self pitty nor do I and or would I support self pitty. You make the best of the situation and move on! SO DO IT!

no one appreciates outsiders pontifications but it seems to me that if PDT mgmt had b*lls they would ask for clarifications for the employees sake.

PDT management's idea of long term planning is tomorrow's lunch. What makes you think they have the cajones to go ask daddy for anything? They bend over and ask for more at will.

HAHA NOW THAT IS FUNNY! Also, I got a line check today and was told that the rumor about getting sold to American is bull. He also said that Piedmont will be around for a long time....I think he got mad when I started laughing...oh well, I thought he was joking.

I worked for PDT (well it was Pennsylvania Airlines and Allegheny when I was there) for 10 years. The problem has always been being a wholly owned group the management team has no real authority. They see flying come and go and daddy says and they have no ability to try and capture additional flying. Good luck guys!

Tomorrow's lunch I thought that was the strategic mission I would think long term would be breakfast or maybe the mid morning snack.
