Another good one is the lady in CLT who got on the dash flew all the way to FLO (Florence, SC) and asked the flight attendant where customs was. The flight attendent asked her why she wanted to know. The lady replied well this is Florence, Italy, right. Yeah it was the termnator into FLO that night and Airways was only running one flight a week to Italy so she was really upset that she got on the wrong plane.

I used to fly with a Flight Attendant in LA who, upon hearing the the usual 'little airplane' comments would hold her thumb and index finger one inch apart and say "we never talk about small around the Pilots!"

What's also hilarious is you see two people walking one way and looking another (imagine that), on a collision course, and they hit each other.

we used to have a FA who when someone said "this plane is so small", she would answer with "ohh, really? how big is your plane"
haha
Also, about pax going to the wrong destination:
We have a CA who had a latin american passenger on his flight who spoke very poor english and obviously rarely flew. Upon arrival in Nassau, the passenger was confused and got his point across to the CA that he was supposed to be in Nashville. Turns out he bought his ticket over the phone and I guess the agent misunderstood his request. As a gesture of good faith, the CA non-revved him to Nashville! Great guy.

When I was a Captain in the ERJ, Key word WHEN!!!! I told pax She skinny, long, tall and has two big ones and that why we love her... Am riding her to XXX dest. are you riding or not let the FA know ASAP!!!

hahaha. What?... you must be proud of the fact that nobody complains about the size of your plane yet you still complain about the size of your paycheck. That is even more embarrasing.

Regional pilots,
A humorous thread to break the tension. RJ's and props are small and pax are often weary of them. Any interesting stories of pax throwing a fit over the "little plane" they're asked to fly on even though their ticket is from a "real" airline, or similar such? Or what the hell, any other funny/stupid pax stories lately???
