Just curious...IF US Airways came up to Comair and and asked them to fly for them, what do you really think Comair would do, especially right now? While at the same time PSA would furlough even more guys/girls. I highly doubt Comair would say "No thanks, thats PSA's flying"

Get over yourself

Come on man its not a knock, it is what it is... and all regional people know that.
...but some are respectable.. It just makes me sick to see that a 2nd year comair fo was practically making twice the amount of a 2nd year pcl fo a year ago... and even after BK pay cuts thrown down our throats our pay and work rules aren't great.. but pcl's are pathetic. I realize your guys contract was signed in 1999 and I'm all for raising the bar ,but com'on fellas.. whos going to be raising the bar during these times? I mean Delta already tried to can you once....

ha. this post actually made me laugh. yeah pinnacle isn't respectable. sure. we have only been working with a nearly 10 year old contract that has been ammendable for over 3 years. i guess we should have taken the first offer the company gave us huh? that would have been respectable? or even the most recent one, that would have been respectable? no i don't think it would have been. even in this current climate of furloughs and airlines dissapearing pinnacle pilots have still said no to all the crap management is trying to throw at us. so we ARE raising the bar in these tough times. we actually had the balls to do it in the face of losing the nwa contract, dal contract, and all the future flying the keep talking about we said no. everyone here is still commited to getting the fair contract we have patiently waited for.

I'm not saying that PCL stole Comair's flying, but PCL's Delta award was announced the same day Comair emerged from BK... and right after the pilot's contract got buttraped to "make Comair competitive to win back Delta flying".

So while the Comair execs were eating "Bankruptcy Exit" cake in their fancy office, Delta was giving Comair another hot one up the tailpipe in the form of yet another regional invited to share scraps at the DCI table. There is no doubt that Delta timed the announcement for the maximum morale boost at Comair.

Some blame Delta, some blame Comair's CEO of the week, some will blame the new guy flying the route. I'm just sayin'... That's why some have hard feelings.

We need to get past this as pilots and just agree to hate Mesa.

Right on. Because none of us over at SkyWest, RAH, or Compass have ever worked hard for the DCI flying...

Did you really actually post this?! Well it's got my vote for stupid post of the day.

BTW, 9E guys congrats!
