Pinnacle Reaches Deal with Delta!

Like someone posted earlier, according to the press release more deliveries of the 900s won't be til Jan 09. So he speculated Oct for ground schools. Unfortunately that makes sense, even though most of us in the hiring pool are prob slated for the 200. I suppose for there to be a need for more 200 pilots, more 900 openings must take place?? But no harm in thinking positive!

new hires are getting atlanta too. infact the last vacancy we had had several new hires going to atlanta. so your chances of getting atlanta right out of training are pretty good.

According to what I've heard, there's a bunch of CA's getting calls from Southwest and NetJets, so there's a good chance that ground school will start much sooner than October.... Of course, this is also a rumor too, so take it with a grain of salt....

You're welcome that I as a 9e pilot was more than happy to give you guys rides on my jumpseat during your negotiations and during your strike without trash talking some part of your company/contract. You're welcome I donated to your fund so your families could afford food on the table during your strike. And "uhhh" we were wholly owned by NWA at the time, but I realize it's MY FAULT they sold us and we went public.
Oh I forgot, you 2 probably hadn't even started private pilot training at the time so you wouldn't know anything about that would you?
"Congrats" (2 comair guys) for being 2 bad apples in the whole bunch of good Comair guys that obviously have no clue what the role of an airline pilot is in this whole management chess game...
Oh yeah why dont you find out how many Comair guys came over to 9e during your strike to fly here........

ha. this post actually made me laugh. yeah pinnacle isn't respectable. sure. we have only been working with a nearly 10 year old contract that has been ammendable for over 3 years. i guess we should have taken the first offer the company gave us huh? that would have been respectable? or even the most recent one, that would have been respectable? no i don't think it would have been. even in this current climate of furloughs and airlines dissapearing pinnacle pilots have still said no to all the crap management is trying to throw at us. so we ARE raising the bar in these tough times. we actually had the balls to do it in the face of losing the nwa contract, dal contract, and all the future flying the keep talking about we said no. everyone here is still commited to getting the fair contract we have patiently waited for.
