That is definately not a bad place to be I agree. Being stuck at CHQ as a captain is better than being stuck at Lakes as a captain. If you are young and you want to gamble with the possibility of getting stuck at Lakes, you may reap large rewards.

The big thing is senority. If you spend 5+ years at a regional and only 2-3 years at lakes, thats 2-3 years of senority at another place. Lakes is not meant to be a place to stay, and get cozy!

I agree 100%. I wasn't referring to Lakes when I said "Why not enjoy flying, and go to a company that you will enjoy?"
