Working in this industry, you should also know that, sometimes, it is darkest just before it goes completely black...

GM does not work under the RLA....big difference in how things get done.

Just got an e-mail from the Pinnacle recruiter...

...she stated in her e-mail, "we have finally rescheduled our new hire pilot classes throughout the remainder of the year." However, they are still not interviewing (or at least haven't assigned any interview dates yet). She did include an attachment for paperwork required to "bring to the interview."

I wonder if they'll resume their hiring? I'm not trying to spread rumors or anything....just updating things from the generic e-mail to Pinnacle applicants. I had been offered a tentative interview with them earlier this summer.

I just got a similar email. In my case, however, I was in the hiring pool so the email went on to say that based on where I am in the pool I would be scheduled for a Sept class and that they'll be notifying me "within the next week" as to the specific date.

Thanks for the info guys...it's good they might start offering class dates again...gives us more ammo in negotiations too!!! (i.e. even more difficult for anyone to try threatening job cuts as a negotiating tactic...since we can say "uhhh, if you need to cut then why are you running new hire classes again?").

If anyone gets out of our pool and needs any advice/info on training/Memphis/etc. PM me fo sho!!!

My senority moved up about 10 this month, i'm sure if this keeps up they'll have to start a new hire class here and there.
