I predict an 85M loss when this QUARTERLY report hits the press... this one includes the Hawaiian settlement.

I left mesa last fall after 8 1/2 years of mgmt. b.s., game playing and manipulating things in the business to put money in their own pockets while screwing the people bringing the money in for them. Mesa absolutely DID furlough during contract negotiations in 2002. One class was given the option of going to the freedumb alterego operation mgmt started with the arrival of the 700's or go home and wait for the mesa side to hire again. Don't let anyone tell you 'mesa never furloughed' because it just isn't true.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that jo and cronies are intentionally pushing for a bankruptcy so they can all jump ship and make out like fatcats while all the labor ends up on the street.

fyi-jo has, in the past, been listed on the b.o.d. of Spirit while the CEO of Spirit has been listed on the b.o.d. of Mesa. Tell me how that is not a conflict of interest. There are some decent mgmt people in the industry and then there is Lorenzo, Ichan, and Ornstein.

Best wishes to my friends who are still there!
