Mesa's DCI 900's are owned by DAL.
The 39 Airways birds are owned by mesa, but I believe they are heavily financed. It's possible that airways has a hand in the deal, but I do not believe they have any kind of controlling interest in the airplanes. I think as long as mesa makes thier mortgage payments, they can do whatever they want with the airways 900's. That alone is probably what has kept them in business this long.
