There is no better headset than the QC2 with uflymike.com adapter. Don't even think about anything else.

QC2 w/ufly mike might be nice, but its not TSO'd. The Microphone might be TSO'd but the headset setup is not. Wear it with a Fed on board or a check up and you could be violated. Not worth it to me.

I wear it the QC2 in the 2/7/9 and a FED never has said anything... the last FED's 2 also had the QC2!!!

Does your company require TSO'd headsets?

I use a Telex 5X5 Pro with custom fitted ear plugs. It works great!!! I've been using it since April, and I've never had to deal with headset headache, messed up hair, or sweaty ears again! Totally worth the $350 I spent on it!!!

Check out the Telex 850, lightweight, noise canceling, and doesn't require batteries. It draws power from the mic plug. I fly the noisy 200, and it works great. Doesn't clamp the ears, you can wear sunglasses comfortably, and keeps the noise out. Can be expensive brand new ($400-$450), but I found a lightly use set on eBay for $200.

I used to use the Bose X in the all the CRJ variants. I switched to the Telex 850 and couldn't be happier. Bose the X and the QC-2 are overkill for the RJ. However the Rj is loud enough that noise reduction helps significantly. The 850 is very lightweight with great fidelity and the perfect amount of noise reduction.
