Ok so I glanced at my HI9 today and that had a seniority number on it. Is that the same one as the N6D or does that one take into account Executive, too?

Those are the same numbers. The only way to find your master seniority number is to look at the seniority lists on jetnet (updated twice a year?) and find your number on there. If you look on the master seniority list there are some people with "NA" in the far right column, those are the guys flying on the Executive certificate.

Hopefully there will be a new flow plan coming out soon to reflect the latest bid results.

it seems that klga is understaffed...they always go down to like 2-3 FOs and all the FOs are flying a lot...not as much though with recent cutbacks...KJFK seems really overstaffed right now but then again it is only in its first month...as far as FOs go we really don't do much flying...i've been here two weeks...have sat ready reserve each day and haven't flown yet...most other guys have only maybe 5-10 hours so far. i think the captains reserve list go down to about 2-3 daily but with only like30-40 flights and not many kickin' off in the morning it's just a really really slow month...

The December lines don't look so good at any of the Northeast bases...

The December lines at DFW don't look so great, at least for the ATR. Way understaffed on that plane!

So, this is not from any official mail or anything so take it as you will. I flew with a check airman/IOE instructor/training instructor. He kept telling me that they have been briefing/prepping the training dept. for hiring to resume in Jan. He also was telling me there was going to be another vacancy/displacement bid out soon. I was telling him I go to training soon and he kept telling me to "just wait and see". He kept insinuating that something big was coming.
Like I said, nothing official so i'm not sure it can be trusted. I only post this because I want to know if anyone else has heard anything reliable. There is only going to be me and one other guy in training in my class so they don't seem to eager to get people into their displacements.

This from the Eagle MEC, "In the meantime, management has informed ALPA that the Boston based pilots currently scheduled for displacement on December 31, 2008 will have the effective date of their displacement delayed until January 31st." Their claim is that it will disrupt the holiday schedule. I hope they can work something out for our fellow BOS guys/gals.

This means 20 year capts that are gonna be on the bottom of the list in BOS next month are gonna have to sit on the couch for an extra month.

I'm glad I'm leaving Dec 2nd but would love to be a fly on the wall when they call the S3 (on his friday) to do that late JFK turn.
