Me hear these things:

move 2 atrs from DFW to Mia
move more from sju to Mia
increase DFW atr ops by 40%
increase Mia atr and jet ops by 70%
most likely getting the 25 crjs and moving them northeast
parking the 135s
recalling soon
all this done this fall

disclaimer: I was not at the meeting

I love the Eagle rumors. Management is just spewing things they want to see but when they put the pencil to the paper I bet we see things continue as they are. I don't expect recalls anytime soon. They just displaced several instructors and check airman from the school house. I suspect they will staff up the school house again when they are ready to start recalling. That's my .02

IF they do add the remaining 22 CRJ's, I can't see them going to the Northeast. Perhaps some routed thru there, but My bet the lines would reamin in DFW/ORD.

What I hear and what I believe are two different things just to be clear.

Agreed. I think we will see CRJs in the northeast eventually, but they will be crews from ORD/DFW. We already have several departures per day from JFK that are crewed by ORD pilots (JFK-ORD, BWI, CLE, PIT) The CRJ already does DCA/RDU/BNA and could easily do a JFK turn from those stations. We have a few direct flights ORD-JFK that are run by 145s that I could see changing to CRJs when the time comes in order to plug the CRJ into the NE system.

You're right about CP duties. Like what I said, I just heard from two sets of crew hovering over the ticket counter at dca while I was sitting there on my two hour break.........

I was in the AA chief pilots office and he was on a phone call while I was in there. It was a conference call for tentative agreement with for AA managers. It had all CP's from the AA domiciles. He said "you didnt hear anything!" uh huh ok! SO something is in the works...
