No one cared when the industry was growing and everyone was doing well. Now that things have taken a downturn, someone has to be evil. Its not a coincedence that its the one company still somewhat growing. Calling RAH the next mesa is just laughable. There is zero comparison in the two companies other than them not being wholly owned by a legacy.

Its rather sad people are bashing others. If RAH were to lose one of their contracts to another regional, you bet they'd be celebrating for being the new "cheaper option". This is all a matter of people wanting their company to grow and not someone elses.

We dont need to point fingers or wish ill on others or put down company policies/procedures because of the uniform they wear. If your not happy with contracts/pay/QOL, tough. This is the nature of the business right now. Whether your at GLA,MESA,FedEx or Southwest you all knew the conditions of the company you applied/work for. All this bickering about how mine is better than yours is garbage. "Cowboy up" and fly. If you dont like it leave. Many of our airline bro/sisters who are on the street will gladly fill your spot.
Well said. feels like i took the biggest dump in my life. feels good

It kills me when I hear fools bash RAH, like our contract is anything like MESA's. Like Fly said, its certainly not the best, but is FAR from the worst. I'd say we fall right in the middle for pay, with some pretty solid QOL work rules like no junior manning and no hot reserve.

Do we have room for improvement? Absolutely. But are we bringing down the industry? Absolutely NOT! Comair's contract was the industry leading, so to say RAH brought it down is unfair. EVERY contract out there brought down Comair's. We all hated to see yours get cut in BK as it hurt OUR bargaining position, too.

Hate what deals that our management is inking, but don't hate on the pilots or our contract. We have no control over management, and are working to make a solid but average contract even better.

Here's to raising the industry average for all!
