No offense, but you must be really bad at reading. The letter specifically states the conditions required for employment. Granted, if you DON'T read all of it, it can be misleading. However, the letter states your offer of employment is conditional pending review of all of your records, interview notes, and final agreement of the interview panel.

Sorry you didn't get the job, but the letter was pretty clear.

If this sounds more like your case, if I were you, I probably wouldn't sue them.

Why do I bring these things up? I think things will be better for all of us when the mainlines are healthy and there is a renewed worldwide demand for pilots.
I don't mean any offense by this questions here bud ... but do you honestly believe this economy is going to turn around this year?! I think you're being incredibly naive to think that. My guess is we are in for another incredibly tough year, and then maybe things will start slowing turning around in 2010.

As for the rest of these posts ... I'm always up for a good debate, but speculating where planes will go between the several different regionals for the same codeshare later on down the road, and who will be bringing more in from straight off the assembly line is a little petty unless you know from either a press conference/release/financial report that it's going to happen. Now, maybe I didn't read a post or two on here fully, but I don't think anyone is talking facts here about aircraft being taken away or gained in the future, just speculation ... which is great, but putting down other airlines in the process is a little uncalled for. Just my .02
