Delta hoses ASA again on pass benefits.

This thread is dumb. I paid thousands of dollars non-reving my family around at American while I was at AE. People over there would have killed to pay $300 hundred a year. Stop your crying.

I'd agree, crack the chain off your wallet already.

This place has finally gotten as bad as Flightinfo.
Here's a clue... if you think the thread is dumb, don't read it and respond!
Who's worse? Someone who whines about an issue they thought was important, or the 5 or so posters who take 14 pages to tell him to quit whining because THEY don't have a problem with it, so he shouldn't either?

Would you like to get charged for every leg your kids and spouse and parents fly on? Lets say you go on one trip where you fly a two leg flight from the east coast to the west coast to visit family. At $16 a person, per leg... if a family of 4 go, fly 2 legs out, and two legs back you just paid $256 round trip to non rev, IF you sit in coach. If you sit in first class you can double that to $512. One trip. This is what several pilots are paying to non-rev their families at the airline they are employed at. What do you think this will add up to for the whole year?
If you want to talk like a kid, then "here's a clue" for you. Grow up. Change your attitude. If you really want to complain about something, take your pick at any one of 100 issues facing pilots as a whole group and stop being so selfish about yourself.
I take back saying this thread is dumb, after re-reading everything you said I meant to say your attitude is terrible.

So your saying that you normally don't use actual & correct numbers or take all things into consideration? What numbers do you normally use?
Whatever the case may be, this John guy is making an idiot out of himself. So he stops trying to do what he can to get non-revs on.
You guys are doing a 30 or 40 minute turn at an outststion. You're not going to have time to do an employment verification on the non-revs. So the group he somehow "doesn't help out" and leaves could be all ASA. Good job, brotha.
You're really stickin' it to the man now. They'll probably be calling you any day to ask how you would like your refund check for the money you overpaid for travel benefeits.
Grow up.

Just curious if the posters arguing cost realize we pay for every leg we fly that is not an ASA flight. So we get a fee increase while retaining the previous expense to non rev and while retaining our just above buddy pass priority on all non ASA flights.
I'm not among those complaining - we still get a great deal! However, too many of the arguments posted in this thread act like we get to fly free on mainline and other DCI carriers. We don't.
