We have always said we won't come back from a strike if "hostages" are still on the axe.

There is light at the end of the tunnel- the question is "Will the train stop?" or "Is the train changing tracks and giving us a ride?" I feel the tracks rumblin....

Coming from a bridge myself I'll tell you yes.....I will walk. And are you a more dedicated pilot than me because you didn't come from a bridge? And first work huh.... Since I'm also prior Military I doubt you can compare anything u call work to what this bridge baby has done......Way to stereotype though bud.

Any probies that are fired during a strike will be reinstated before we return to flying. Nobody will lose their job for striking. The penalties for crossing a picket line are much more severe than being fired for a few weeks.

I think we are spinning our wheels for no reason. Granted I was one of the first posters about a strke, but thats besides the point I give us 6 months of status quo, then the fire will be lit and we'll get the cooling off period we have been looking for. Heck, the last of the probies will probably be off probation by the time we strike. Wasnt the last class in Sept sometime????

Oh take that attitude and shove it . . . get over yourself already . . . coming from another airline myself, I find it condescending how people judge around 9E . . . there is a lot of bashing coming from glass houses!

True buddy....Although it's usually other FO's who talk the smack.... 99% of 9E captains don't have a problem with it and usually tell stories of the cocky FO's that talk the crap are the ones who fly like there retarded. Go figure.

Yes not so much but also military so pipe down. Amazing how sensitive bridge kids are. You missed the point not surprisingly. Youngsters are generally more timid and more easily led astray. Would they be willing to make a tough choice? Ego airlines tend to say otherwise. Insult me all you want but my wings are silver.

Missed the point???? All you were doing was downing "bridge kids". And i'm not sure if you know this but not all bridge programs are filled with youngsters. I could be older than u so you can pipe down with the old mature man act good sir. Silver wings make the man I guess......Keep on keeping on.

Groove,
Ill refrian from insulting you further because I understand your character, but I still dont get why you being in the military has anything to do with this conversation . . . ??????? -Please fill me in
As for my comments:
You challenged whether or not bridge program graduates have enough "balls" to stand with 'everybody else'. The bridge program nor the military make decisions for you. The gross generalizations on these boards are terrible of which you are the epitome of.

Understand this: We have all been flying the same line for the same company you have. This in mind, it should not be a hard choice for anybody to picket outside Nonsence Blvd. If there is any group that has been feeling the brunt of the crap that 9E dishes out, its the FOs - especially the new ones . . . they have been working at an FO wage which was established 10 years ago and hasnt even been adjusted for cost of living in 4 years. If you want me to go on, I will. Just be advised that this is where the majority of your beloved 'bridge programmers' are sitting right now because they dont have the time to upgrade . . .
