Well then what's ur specific reason for not being a frequent poster in the Mesaba threads? We have all the same bases, so if your eggs are not all in the 9E basket, then why aren't you equally as frequent of a poster in the mesaba threads???

Thanks Noseeums for the valuable advice. But i hope it wasn't in response to me asking as simple a question as "and your source is"? I am in the pool yes, and thats why when someone posts regarding it I like to keep myself updated like you said as to whats going on. And since someone mentioned it being flushed, just wanted to see if it was simply one of those rumors or an actual word from management.
There is a company conference call for pilots / flight attendants today. We'll see if anything of value comes out of that. I'm expecting nothing more than the usual fear mongering.

I do not believe that I have read anywhere that his other options are at airlines, so maybe 9E is the one airline where he got his name into a pool before the industry took a ******. I would want info as to the current conditions at the company as well.
3Greens and everyone else interested. There is no new info from negotiations. We got the standard letter after the first two days saying that no progress has been made and have not heard anything since. Maybe no news is good news, but I doubt it. If you have a chance to go somewhere that isn't here, I say take it. If it isn't where you ultimately want to end up, take it anyway. Experience is experience and doing something other than instructing will certainly help you chase your dream eventually.
Good Luck

and when I finally got a chance with them, everything changed. they stopped hiring, canceled classes etc.
I guess that answers it.. and was quite easy. Simple question with a more simple answer..
And wow.. this thread has gone from talking about Pinnacle to talking about me... its kinda cool
oh well..I'm glad I have some beer stacked up in the fridge.. enjoying the day off.. *cheers*
and again Noseeums, I'm not offended by any means and don't worry about the false assumption. You dont need to be sorry, as long as we cleared up the misunderstanding..
SrfNFly227, I couldn't agree with you more. I don't think posting other opportunities on a public forum is necessary.. but appreciate the updates regarding the negotiations.

Per one of the VP's - we need to "address our critical financial situation". From an investors standpoint, I'm just trying to figure out how bad things are since the revenue from Delta is basically the same every month.
Up coming company debt must be what they are eluding too. The CFO kind of glossed over it during the last quarterly call.
