Tipping is only a us thing. Go to Europe nobody tips for anything. But here everyone expects a tip. From the star bucks barista to the chamber maid.

Correction. Used to be a US thing. Give the driver a dollar or two. What is wrong with the guys who won't give a dollar on the overnight?

Having traveled to mutilate, European, African, and Far Eastern, they all still expect a tip.

Imagine that, they have different customs in Europe. What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

So, you want to raise the minimum wage and become a democratic socialist country like the rest of Europe?

As long as he doesn’t have to tip I think he is fine with being taxed 50% of his wages and 20% VAT on every purchase.

The things you can learn on APC.

TIL that raising the minimum wage would make the US a democratic socialist country.

Reading is hard, I know.

Guy wants things to be more like Europe. Well, European countries have a higher minimum wage (a thing Americans are vehemently opposed to) and many are Democratic Socialist countries (the end of the world from what I hear).

Is that easier to understand or should I use smaller words?

Smaller words would be great. After all I'm just a selfish regional pilot.
