The buffet there is tasty. I've heard they used to give employees a discount as well. It creeps me out though because its always crowded and gets me claustrophobic trying enjoy all that fried food.

The galley is too. Fried spicy chicken sandwich is tasty.

(The following pointless point is in response to your pointless point)

So what? I've had to slow down in a piston twin to follow a 757.....doesn't mean the 757 is slow. It means that a piston twin (or a Caravan) can maintain a higher speed on final because they can configure and slow down much later. A jet needs to be stabilized much earlier. You'll see when you get a jet job. So, stop posting just for the illusion of contributing unless you actually know what you're talking about.

(my intended tone is meant to be informative, I'm sure you're a fine aviator)

All these "jet jobs" seem to involve a pay cut so I'll stick it out where I am for now.

Discount still in full effect. I know what you mean about the crowds, especially when you are in uniform (people stare at pilots for some reason). Plus eating gumbo in a white shirt is risky!

People, People...

Everyone knows that the ERJ135 is the awsomest aircraft EVAR! Beware of the wake of awsomeness and keep your distance. Look out for the comic book style expressions that follow it everywhere. When we lower the gear a "CLUNK" written in black and yellow lighting font is suspended in the air for about 30 seconds. It's true!

what's funny is BabyWidget was an ERJ 135 :P

I remember the Dash 8 captain asking BW how many folks he had to bump.

It is? Cool, I thought I heard from some silverbacks that it used to be like $8 for the boo-fay.
