That would be such a shame.

It's kind of funny how they have scheduled classes to start just before Christmas. We all must have been bad this year and this is Santa's way of putting coal in our stockings :P

I wonder if management is trying to slim down the seniority list to close the gap between the number of pilots at Trans States and GoJet. If GoJetters outnumber Waterskiers, could they combine the companies and vote out ALPA? Just random thoughts.

Is this the voluntary recall? Will there be a mandatory recall?

This is good news for folks without a job. What they do with all of the pilots remains to be seen.

A little recap of 2009:

January: Reserve in STL
February: Reserve in IAD
March: Reserve in IAD
April: Med Leave
May: Furloughed
June: Unemployment
July: New job and new baby
August: Passed test for new Job
September: Passed more tests for new job
October: Went to STL for new job training
November: Recall notice
December: ???????????

Quite the year, and I know I am not the only one. Hopefully whatever there is in store for TSA, it will be a goood thing to get more of us back, at least those that actually come back.

As for me, I am waiting to hear just why exactly we are all being called back. Until then, I will be waiting for the mandatory recall to decide.

What is anyone else doing at this point? PM me.
