I've never flown with him but he looks like the perfect guy to fly with!! Extremely experienced but always with a smirk and an evil grin on his face! I hope I have the same positive cynicism when I have his seniority!

I think it's over. For now. But there are tons of restless people at AWAC who might be ready to leave when the better opportunity arises. So while things might be dormant right now I don't think it's done. I would not be surprised to see a few more classes in the fall or winter, depending upon attrition.

Latest word from the SOC is that the typical reduction in flights from Sept to Dec isn't going to be as big as years past. Couple that with a handful of people quitting each month and air willy will have to hire a few more classes this summer/fall.

Heard rumors of 20 upgrades as well in the fall? Anybody been down clt recently heard this?

Not yet, but speaking of CLT apparently it is AWAC's number two airport through the summer for average daily departures. Second to PHL and higher than DCA and LGA by about ten per day.

CLT is not a base for AWAC.
