I heard Mesaba was getting all Comair and Pinnacle's 900's.

Mod this is turning into the childish rants seen on that other forum site. Please lock this thread before this whole forum becomes as useless as that other website.

It don't matter how much money Delta has, it matters how much money Mesaba has. If Delta stops paying them, they have no money and are bankrupt. Wholly owns get paid per flight. Lets just say it $2600 a flight (that is a totally random number.) Let say Delta decides they are going to reduce that number to $1000. Mesaba would not last very long. They could send Mesaba right back into bankruptcy very quickly. You can say good bye to all the snap backs and they already got PBS so I can't imagine what they would go for next. Never think Mesaba is safe. They are in no way safe. If I were you I would rather be at a contract carrier while Delta is trying to dump capacity.

The question you have to ask yourself here is whether or not there is a hanger payment due.....

DAL owns all of Mesaba's main assets. For Delta to shed those obligations, DAL would have to file for bankruptcy, not mesaba. Why would DAL pay millions in a restructuring, when they can shut us down tomorrow at no cost to them?

Sometimes I wonder if maybe allowing Mesaba to go bankrupt would be the route to go. Morale seems to be pretty bad, even among the flight attendants. It is only going to get worse. How much longer until the wheels fall off?

You are right, Mesaba does not own much which would make thing difficult because they have no collateral. But bankruptcy would do something. They could throw out all of their contracts all over again. Pilot, flight attendants, mechanics, and dispatchers would all be renegotiating. That would save millions for the cost savings Delta might want. As for exit financing.....well as someone previously said.....Delta has a lot of cash.

Mesaba does not care about moral. I know people who went through the first bankruptcy and they can tell you all about it. Its about making money and keeping costs low. I don't think Mesaba will go out of business due to ticked off employees......just more disciplinary meetings

dude either your not reading anything posted or you just want to keep posting flamebait...Delta OWNS Mesaba(thats what wholly OWNED means)...the only way Mesaba can go bankrupt is if DAL goes bankrupt...it's as simple as that

considering 7 of your previous 10 posts are on this thread and your first post on APC was yesterday, i think it's safe to say your a flamer...
