Don't get me wrong, Eagle is still a pretty good place. No matter where you go, it's gonna be the same song and dance. You just have to accept it and live with it. In order for there to be a change, the entire 121 mind set has to be changed from the status quo. I'm not trying to sway anyone to my thinking or change their mind however comma be ready for the BS, it goes with the teritory.

I'll have that answer for tonight "Q".

Out of the regionals you looked at, it has the most in common with a major airline.

ERJ or Flyby,

I looked around but I cant seem to find the full answer. Out of the 6 bases, which airplanes are in each base. Like I have no idea what is in LA. I only know ATR and I think a new EMB base are in MIA. But I do not have the full layout. If someone does not mind, can you just type up really quick which planes are in each base. I thank you a ton.

DFW: EMB, ATR (CRJ base closing)

ORD: EMB, CRJ

LAX: EMB (lots of planned CRJ flythrough, but no base -- yet)

LGA: EMB, CRJ

JFK: EMB (some CRJ flythrough, but not a CRJ domicile)

MIA: EMB, ATR

SJU: ATR

Thanks to the whole problem since 911, those CAs got stucked and didn't went to the mayors, doing Eagle as their career.

Simple math,,, 15 yr capt - 10 year stuck for 911 and oil price = 5 year. (they where senior Fo or recently upgraded captain at that moment)

This is my analysis, if I'm wrong someone correct me.
Wow!...just...Wow!
The 10-15 year captains aren't overpaid! The competitors are just underpaid in a race to the bottom.

Like it or hate it, one of the positive aspects of a 16-year contract is stability, making Eagle a regional you can actually have a career with.

At OH, we'd kill for a long term exclusive feed for DAL, with flow-through and annual pay raises...the grass ain't always greener on a picket line!

The term "race to the bottom" shouldn't be used anymore, we are at the bottom and they've won. Anything less than $50K starting, is complete garbage for the type of responsibility we carry on our backs everyday.

I didn't realize how underpaid I was until I started making O-1 pay as an Ensign...making more than I ever did in 5 years and that's to learn how to fly. Again.
