starscream thanks, two last questions and then I think I am fully ready to take on this training and whatever I get.

First, is it easy to switch from JFK to LGA if your on the EMB?? Not that either is a big difference, but just out of curiosity, also do you only get a parking pass to one place? I am surprised its not just one domicile for both LGA/JFK EMB.

Second, Flyby, if you where coming into this class, from what I read, you would pick EMB over CRJ because you expect much more movement due to the DOH of those on the EMB. Is that correct? In the event I had the option for either both out of base, I wonder which would pan out better. I also understand its all gamble and guess regardless.

Thanks guys.

There hasnt been a huge amount of movement into LGA ERJ FO lately, JFK ERJ FO has seen a trickle of slots, 3-5 openings here and there. You get one parking pass per domicile. The company did want to make JFK/LGA a co-base, but that is a whole new can of worms for another discussion.

I would recommend ERJ for someone like yourself who lives in the NY/NJ area and ultimately would like to drive to work. LGA CRJ FO is pretty well set with 70 FOs. You wont see too much more movement into that status.

If you dont get LGA/JFK ERJ on Day 1 then you shouldnt have too much trouble getting into a NYC base in the near future. LGA ERJ FO has been overstaffed for a while, but it is now down close to where the company wants it to be. LGA ERJ FOs are pretty senior, and when they bid for upgrades the company should have to begin replacing them. JFK is in the same boat for ERJ FOs.

Just to clarify, I expect more movement for ORD CRJ than anything else at this point, but I know that your ultimate goal is to get back to a NYC base, and ERJ would be your best bet for that.

Good luck, let us know how it goes on Day 1!

Go pound sand.
I didn't say we are "overpaid". I said that comparing other regionals we pay more. (which is a good thing) Why? Because other companies have to underpay to get a contract with the mainliners.

And of course that's what AA wants, get a less expensive feeder with the same or bigger planes, which is sad!

You're right...I wish this could be the glamorous job with good pay it used to be. For sure I think I'll never see that kind of pay.

Like it or hate it, one of the positive aspects of a 16-year contract is stability, making Eagle a regional you can actually have a career with.

At OH, we'd kill for a long term exclusive feed for DAL, with flow-through and annual pay raises...the grass ain't always greener on a picket line!

Who needs to dodge the proverbial "Golden-BB" when you're flying the mighty "turbo Tormentor" haha...it's a small miracle every time you make it through another flight

You're at a 12, we need you at about a 3. For the love of god you have got to calm down. You're classmates are going to murder you if you are this wound up. It's nice to see the enthusiasm but DAMN!
